Dr. William A. Portuese is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. He is the current president of the Washington State Chapter of Facial Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Portuese is also a Clinical Instructor in the Dept. of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Washington, and the author of numerous publications in his field. He regularly gives presentations about facial plastic surgery on local, national and international levels.

Dr. Portuese specializes in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck; this includes ALL aspects of Facial Plastic Surgery including Facelifts, Blepharoplasty (eyelids), Coronal Forehead (brow lifts), Facial implants, Dermabrasion, Botox®, Rhinoplasty (nose), Neck lift/liposuction, Otoplasty (ears), and Lip augmentations.
Dr. Portuese’s experience in facial plastic surgery is extensive. He completed his surgical internship and residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. After his residency, Dr. Portuese completed a one year fellowship in Beverly Hills, with Dr. Frank Kamer, an internationally renowned facial plastic surgeon.

While in Beverly Hills, Dr. Portuese learned the most recent advances in facial cosmetic surgery including tissue adhesive techniques, which require no sutures, lower eyelid surgery without external incisions, and nasal surgery with all of the incisions made internally.
Dr. Portuese is a resident of Seattle, Washington. The natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest is a perfect fit for him. He has a deep appreciation for the balance and harmony of nature and devotes much of his personal time to his family; and when time allows he enjoys fishing, water skiing, hiking and visits to the numerous slopes surrounding Seattle to snow ski.
The Seattle Facial Plastic Surgery Center is located in Seattle Washington and serves King County including Bellevue.
